It is notified for the information of the general public and the trade, particularly those dealing in cloth and textile products, that our client Mr. YAHSIR WAHEED is the original creator, developer and proprietor of designs and ornamental patterns applied to textile piece goods, in particular lawn for ladies shalwar kameez & dupattas (hereinafter referred to as the textile piece goods). The textile piece goods for the Season of 2004 have already been launched countrywide.

The designs and ornamental patterns of these textile piece goods (hereinafter 2004 Designs) are the exclusive property of our client and relevant designs are registered under the Registered Designs Ordinance, 2000 by the Government of Pakistan which additionally confers exclusive proprietary rights in respect of the said designs upon Mr. Yahsir Waheed.

Mr. Yahsir Waheed sells his textile piece goods ONLY from Launch Exhibitions at the start of the season and thereafter through his exclusive outlet situated at G6, Empire Center, Main Boulevard. Gulberg III, Lahore.

It is notified that any manufacturing and/or stocking and/or sale of any textile piece goods whether bearing the 2004 Designs of YAHSIR WAHEED LAWN or any other design depicting the name YAHSIR WAHEED or any part thereof, is prohibited by law and shall tantamount to infringement of rights of our client guaranteed under the relevant laws of the country. These products are totally counterfeit and fake. The public is requested to be cautious in purchasing YAHSIR WAHEED LAWN. Persons involved in the afore-described practice are warned to immediately cease and desist from their activities, failing which legal action shall be initiated against them.

The shopkeepers are warned that they should not stock or sell any textile piece goods whether printed with 2004 Designs of Mr. Yahsir Waheed or carrying the trademark YAHSIR WAHEED or a part thereof nor Pass Off to the customers different textile piece goods as YAHSIR WAHEED LAWN.

The customers of Mr. Yahsir Waheed are requested to bring to the knowledge of Mr. Yahsir Waheed and/or this office in writing or through telephone the name and address of the shop selling infringing products. Our client is committed to ensure that his customers receive only the genuine products and will enforce his rights against all unscrupulous infringers through legal proceedings and/or other remedies that may be available such as raids through law enforcing agencies at the shops selling infringing products.
